Patrol boats / Rescue boats
With increased shipping and yacht traffic, India had a need for a faster and more capable rescue boat. Normal duties involve placing pilots aboard ships as they enter india's harbors at Mumbai and Kolkata. It calls occur frequently from disabled yachts and for medical emergencies aboard cruise ships when India is the nearest port.
